Athletics

At St. Anne’s, we believe in the power and potential of female athletes, with a vision to celebrate our students’ strength, determination, and passion as they develop athletically. Our athletics program is designed to develop athletic skills and foster qualities essential for success on and off the field, offering a supportive and empowering environment where every girl can thrive from Grades 5 through 12.

Whether your daughter considers herself athletically inclined or is more of an intramural player, we support students where they are, offering representative teams at all age divisions and a wellness program that promotes physical, emotional, and social well-being skills and strategies. In wellness, we offer a variety of programming, from strength and cardio training to yoga and mindfulness, outdoor activities, trail running, and cooperative games.

We understand the unique challenges and opportunities that girls face in the world of sports, and we are dedicated to providing our students with the resources and support they need to excel. At the heart of our program is the belief in the power of connection, communication, and healthy competition. Through team sports, individual pursuits, and collaborative activities, we encourage students to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and strive for excellence as individuals and as part of a team.

We strongly emphasize character development, instilling values such as integrity, commitment, resiliency, and self-discipline in our students through athletic. These qualities contribute to success in sports and lay the foundation for success in all aspects of life. We recognize the importance of progressive skill development, age-appropriate training, and holistic athlete support in nurturing the potential of every student.

Our athletics program serves as an outlet for all students to develop their overall physical literacy and fitness while honing sport-specific skills. At St. Anne’s, we offer a variety of sport option over three terms.
