We invite applications for a full-time position at St. Anne’s School in the exciting new role of Admission and Advancement Coordinator.
The Admission and Advancement Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the school’s enrolment and development goals. This shared position bridges two key areas, Admission and Advancement, by providing operational, event, and relationship management support. Day-to-day responsibilities will include managing and maintaining the Admission database, assisting with planning and executing Admission events such as Open Houses, New Family Welcome Day, and Cygnets Summer Kick-off, as well as representing the school at fairs and community events. The coordinator will also produce statistical reports, coordinate the Student Ambassador Program, and respond to inquiries from prospective families.
In addition to Admission support, this role contributes to Advancement initiatives by assisting with donor recognition and stewardship activities, maintaining accurate alumni records, and supporting alumni programming and communications. The coordinator will help organize events such as the End-of-Year Cygnets Ceremony, Parent Speaker Series, and Upper School celebrations, as well as provide project planning support for school initiatives. Responsibilities also include outreach for bursary and scholarship programs, as well as participation in community engagement activities.
The ideal candidate will bring a post-secondary education in business or a related field, along with proficiency in database systems, such as Raiser’s Edge, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgment, and a customer-service mindset. Familiarity with event planning and relationship development principles is an asset. Experience in an independent school, along with project management or planning, is an asset.
This position requires a 35-hour workweek on-site, with attendance at special events outside of regular hours and occasional travel to community events. A warm, professional demeanour and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are critical to success in this role.
