Associate Director, Athletics
We invite applications for a full-time position at St. Anne’s School as Associate Director, Athletics, with an appointment effective in the summer of 2023.
During the 2023-2024 school year, St. Anne’s School will welcome girls from Grades 5-10 for the inaugural year in our stunning state-of-the-art facility across the road from St. Andrew’s College.
At St. Anne’s, Upper School and Middle School students are required to participate in athletics. Our athletic program provides students with important life skills whether they play on competitive or intramural teams. Team and individual sports play a vital role in developing one’s physical, intellectual, social, and emotional well-being. Our representative teams often play scheduled games on Saturdays, and occasional weekend work is required.
The Associate Director, Athletics, will oversee the athletic programming, including coaching assignments and coordinating the athletic schedule and facilities. They will work collaboratively with and support coaching staff in both the Middle and Upper Schools to ensure alignment and advancement of the program. This role will also involve significant planning and coordination with St. Andrew’s College and outside sports facilities to ensure seamless daily operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a teacher and coach. This position will teach four sections and coach all three terms. Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor of Education, have extensive coaching experience and multi-sport knowledge and preferably are certified to teach in Ontario.
