We invite applications for a full-time teaching opportunity at St. Anne’s School in the role of Physics and Mathematics teacher. This position will begin in August 2025.
St. Anne’s School is looking for an exceptional educator to teach physics at the Upper School level and mathematics at the Middle and Upper School levels. The individual in this role will collaborate with colleagues to ensure program excellence, with an expectation of high standards of learning, student progress, and support. In consultation with members of the department and the Director of Academics, the Physics and Math teacher will be expected to be flexible with their course offerings and to prepare and deliver an innovative and inclusive curriculum, compelling instructional practices, and consistent department policy and alignment with the Growing Success criteria.
Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor of Education, ideally with an Honours Specialist in Mathematics and Sciences, including Physics, and preferably be certified to teach in Ontario or in pursuit of this designation. Candidates will bring a thorough understanding of the Ontario curriculum and the Growing Success requirements. Other key requisites of this role include demonstrated leadership and communication skills and a sustained commitment to professional growth and improvement. Additionally, we seek candidates with an interest and experience in robotics and technological design.
