The Dream is Taking Shape

For years, we imagined what a state-of-the-art athletics and wellness centre would look like for our school community. We envisioned a space where students can cheer each other on during home games, where Pens would always have a place to return to, and where new learning spaces would inspire growth and discovery. That dream is now taking shape beside Dunin House.

Construction of the Rogers Wellness and Athletics Centre began this spring, with the official groundbreaking taking place in late April. This milestone was made possible through the extraordinary generosity of Dem Rogers, St. Andrew’s College Class of 1959, whose leadership gift helped launch the project, and through the continued support of donors across our community who continued the momentum. Together, we are creating a facility designed to empower girls to thrive in athletics, strengthen their well-being, and expand their learning skills.

Significant progress has been made over the summer months. With site preparation and foundational work now complete, construction has advanced to the building’s structural phase. It is an exciting time on campus as students witness their future take shape before their eyes, dreaming of the countless ways this remarkable facility will enrich their daily experience.

Momentum continues to build as we continue to make headway toward the project’s anticipated completion by next fall. The Rogers Wellness and Athletics Centre will provide a place where Cygnets can grow stronger, pursue their ambitions, and develop the confidence to lead with purpose.
