U14 Flag Football places third at tourney

Congratulations to our incredible U14 Flag Football team for finishing third overall at the Oct. 21 tournament.

The girls played three great games, starting with a 26–6 win over Crestwood, which advanced them to the semifinals, where they faced St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School. The team played fantastic football, executing plays with confidence, trying new strategies, and pulling flags at every opportunity. Despite their effort and teamwork, the SMLS squad proved to be tough competition, sending us to the third-place game.

The girls finished the day strong, battling hard under the sunshine and having an absolute blast on the field. Some amazing touchdowns and outstanding interceptions sealed the victory and secured a well-deserved third-place finish.

A special shout-out to Bryn S. and Allison F. for their multiple touchdowns, Mia B. for her touchdown and multiple interceptions, Catharine Y. for an interception, and Cadence L. for her excellence as our QB. Congratulations to everyone on the team for their outstanding performance, including flag pulls, long throws, quick thinking, and amazing teamwork throughout the day.
Empowering girls to be courageous learners and compassionate citizens who live and lead with wisdom.
