Senior Flag Football Wins Silver

What a season it’s been for our Senior Flag Football team!

On Oct. 31, the team battled Lakefield College School in the semi-finals under tough conditions: a soaked grass field, strong winds, and steady rain. Despite the cold and mud, the team came together with grit and determination, securing a hard-fought 6–0 victory over Lakefield.

Special shoutout to Player of the Game, Allie, for her big and essential defensive stops that kept Lakefield off the scoreboard.

The team advanced to the finals later that afternoon against De La Salle on their home field. Adjusting to the larger turf, the Cygnets showed relentless effort and strong teamwork on both sides of the ball.

Although De La Salle scored early and the game ended 13–0, our players demonstrated resilience, sportsmanship, and heart to the very last whistle. Special shoutout to Player of the Game, McKenna, for reliable snaps and great field awareness on both offence and defence.

Congratulations on a great season!
