We are delighted you are considering St. Anne’s School for your child. We are here to guide you every step of the way during the admission process. The application checklist is designed to provide us with pertinent information so that we can learn as much as possible about our applicants. This will allow us to review and assess whether your child will find success in our program and become an integral member of the SAS community.
Application process for St. Anne's School:
We continue to accept applications for Grades 5 to 11 for September 2025 entrance.
Applications for September 2026 entrance are now being accepted; however, we will begin processing these new applications in mid-September.
STEP 1:
To access our application, click on this
link and follow the prompts to create an account. Complete the fillable form and submit the $200 application fee by credit card.
STEP 2:
Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email and have access to the Application Checklist. This checklist includes access to upload the following required documents, preferably in .pdf or .jpg format:
- A recent photo of the candidate
- Candidate Statement Form
- Confidential School Recommendation Form (sent directly to a teacher via the checklist)
- The previous two years of final June report cards (as outlined in the checklist)
- Current year report cards (Fall and Winter – as these become available)
- A sampling of earned certificates and awards (if received)
STEP 3:
Students being considered for entry will be invited to a 30-minute formal candidate interview. Our main intake years are Grades 5, 7 and 9, as these grades have the most available positions. Positions in all other grades are limited to attrition.
STEP 4:
The application files are reviewed by the Admission Committee and the following Admission decisions will be made:
- Accepted
- Waitlisted (additional documentation may be requested)
- Declined (the candidate will not be successful in our program at this time)
Decisions for September 2025 entrance are being made on a rolling basis.
For applications and interviews completed by Friday, December 5, 2025, our first-round decisions for September 2026 entrance will be sent out on December 15, 2025. Decisions after this date will be made on a rolling basis, dependent on available positions that remain in each grade.
English Requirements
St. Anne’s School does not offer an ESL program. For students to be successful at St. Anne’s School, they must demonstrate fluency in English in oral and written communication. Applicants applying to Grades 5 through 11 whose first language is not English may be required to complete an English proficiency test such as the
TOEFL,
IELTS, or
Duolingo assessment.
