How to Apply

We are delighted you are considering St. Anne’s School for your child. We are here to guide you every step of the way during the admission process. The application checklist is designed to provide us with pertinent information so that we can learn as much as possible about our applicants. This will allow us to review and assess whether your child will find success in our program and become an integral member of the SAS community.

Application process for St. Anne's School:

Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year are currently being accepted; however, availability is limited in select entry grades. Admission decisions for September 2026 are being made on a rolling basis. To schedule a visit, please contact the Admission Office at admission@stanne.ca
 
Applications for the 2027–2028 academic year will open on August 3, 2026. Application files will begin to be reviewed in mid-September, following the start of the 2026–2027 school year.

STEP 1: Submit an Application
To access our application, click on this link and follow the prompts to create an account. Complete the online application form and submit the $200 application fee by credit card. 
 
STEP 2: Complete the Application Checklist
Once your application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email and gain access to your Application Checklist.
Please upload the following documents (preferred formats: PDF or JPG):
  • A recent photo of the candidate
  • Candidate Statement Form
  • Confidential School Recommendation Form (sent directly to a teacher via the checklist)
  • The previous two years of final June report cards (as outlined in the checklist)
  • Current year report cards (Fall and Winter – as these become available)
  • A sampling of earned certificates and awards (if received)

STEP 3: Candidate Interview
Our primary intake years are Grades 5, 6, 7, and 9, as these grades typically have the greatest number of available spaces.
Applications are also accepted for Grades 8, 10, and 11; however, openings in these grades are limited.
Once all required documentation has been received and the application checklist is complete, qualified candidates may be invited to participate in a 30-minute formal admission interview.
 
STEP 4: Admission Committee Review and Decision
After the interview process is complete, applications are reviewed by the Admission Committee. One of the following decisions will be communicated:
  • Accepted
  • Waitlisted (additional documentation or information may be requested)
  • Declined (the candidate is not considered a suitable fit for the program at this time)
 
Decision Timeline
Families with completed applications—including all required documentation, interview requirements, and any applicable assessments—submitted by December 4, 2026, will receive an admission decision for the 2027-2028 academic year before the December holiday break.
Any remaining spaces will be offered on a rolling basis, subject to availability within each grade level.
 

English Language Requirements
St. Anne's School does not offer an English as a Second Language (ESL) program.
To be successful in our academic environment, students must demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Applicants to Grades 5 through 11 whose first language is not English may be required to submit results from an English proficiency assessment, such as:
