Our Approach to Strategic Investments

Investing in People:

Ensure shared priorities and a sense of purpose, empower growth and development to their potential, and create a sense of belonging where happiness and wellness matter. We ensure staff are supported and challenged by investing in training, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities. Prioritizing wellness and happiness cultivates an inclusive culture that values diversity, promotes well-being, and creates a sense of belonging, where every team member can bring their authentic selves to work and contribute to our collective success.

Investing in Facilities:

Invest in accessible, flexible, and inspiring facilities that meet the needs of our community today and into the future. Investing in sustainable, state-of-the-art facilities ensures St. Anne’s is a vibrant and welcoming place to learn and grow. St. Anne’s School is committed to developing capital projects to support and expand programmatic opportunities like wellness, athletics, and community spaces.

Investing in Innovative Practices:

Embracing innovative practices that enhance the growth and well-being of our community ensures our campus is welcoming, safe, and forward-thinking. Focusing on cutting-edge approaches creates an environment where students and staff can flourish while safeguarding our future through strong financial planning and proactive risk management. Our commitment to environmental stewardship is at the heart of this strategy.

Tactics

  • Create a comprehensive framework, incorporating capital fundraising initiatives, to plan and construct a state-of-the-art wellness, athletics, and community facility that enhances student programs, expands offerings, and elevates the overall student experience.
  • Develop a comprehensive St. Anne’s School campus master plan to guide future growth, optimize facility usage, and enhance the student experience in alignment with the school’s long-term vision and goals.
  • Develop a clear compensation strategy that ensures faculty and non-teaching staff compensation is consistently above industry standards (at least 5% higher than YRDSB for faculty), and effectively communicate this strategy internally and to potential new hires to attract and retain top talent.
